You are welcome!
This is about my contribution in the Opplysningen 1881 Jingle Competition

 .
Here we are! Magnus here!

Because of my Indiegogo campaign at www.indiegogo.com/projects/excellent-heaven-making-of-album/x/4576348,
I present the work which I did in the jingle competition back in the beginning of year 2011.

A norwegian telephone directory company (www.1881.no) arranged a jingle competition at their
Facebook page at https://facebook.com/Opplysningen1881.

The company who were responsible for the competition itself is found at www.hei.no/tag/tjenester.
Scroll down to the third picture
(at this moment) at that page, and there is the article about it.

The goal was about to make an alternative jingle from their original one.
There were more than 300 entries in the competition, and I made two of them.
I have never before tried to make a jingle, as far as I know. The funny thing is, because jingles obviously is not my speciality,
it rather turned out to end up more like short, repetitive melodies. So, no, I am not going to be a jingle creator expert...

But because of the experience and work I did in the competition, it meant something special to me.
I made the videos, too, at the same time as I composed, so I was really working hard!!
It was actually the first time i went public with music I was making. Since then, I forgot the whole project.

So, because of the Indiegogo project, I suddenly remembered, and thought: "Hey, why not...?"
The videos are now uploaded, here they are!

The download link to these videos (as a perk) will be available when it is announced at Indiegogo.
Downloaded versions run smoother. If you are in need of a video player (in case), why not try this one?: www.videolan.org/vlc

I saved screenshots of the competition at that time, so here they are!
If you look closely, you see my contributions, too!

Almost all the videos in the competition are gone.
The few that are there (amongst the other ones)
can be found this way:

1. Go to https://facebook.com/Opplysningen1881
2. Click at the small rectangle with the (currently)
number 6 in it (see image above)
3. Click at the small "Videos" picture

When you are at that page:
If you wonder how the original 1881 jingle sounds like,
you can try one of these two videos. At the end of them,
there it is!
